The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today (November 2), cold air has affected the weather in the Northeast region, then expanded to the Northwest, North Central and some places in the Central Central region.

Due to the influence of cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai continues to have widespread heavy rain.

It is forecasted that from now until tomorrow morning, November 3, the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province will have heavy to very heavy rain.

From Hue City to Da Nang City and the east of Quang Ngai Province, rainfall is generally 300 - 500mm, in some places over 750mm. In Ha Tinh and Quang Tri, rainfall is generally 200 - 350mm, in some places over 500mm. Warning of rainfall intensity greater than 150mm/3 hours.

The southern part of Nghe An province and the western part of Quang Ngai province will have moderate to heavy rain. The average rainfall is 70 - 150mm, with some places receiving over 250mm. Warning of rainfall intensity greater than 150mm/3 hours.

In the eastern part of Gia Lai province, from last night to this evening, there will be moderate to heavy rain. Rainfall is generally 40 - 80mm, in some places over 150mm. Warning of heavy rain intensity of 80mm/3 hours.

West Gia Lai province, areas from Dak Lak to Lam Dong and the South will have showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is generally 10 - 30mm, with some places experiencing heavy rain over 70mm.

At sea, there is currently a tropical convergence zone connecting with the low pressure area in the East Sea. Therefore, the northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6, later increasing to level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. The sea is rough, with waves 3 - 5m high.

The Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, then gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. Rough seas, waves 1.5 - 3m high. The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. Rough seas, waves 2 - 3m high.

Northeast region is cloudy with scattered rain. Cold weather, some mountainous areas are cold. Lowest temperature 18-21 degrees Celsius, highest 21-24 degrees Celsius.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, it is cloudy, in the north (Thanh Hoa and northern Nghe An) there is scattered rain; in the south there is heavy to very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius, highest 23-26 degrees Celsius.

The South Central Coast in the north is cloudy with heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms; in the south, there will be heavy rain in some places. The lowest temperature is 22-25 degrees Celsius, the highest is 25-28 degrees Celsius in the north; 29-32 degrees Celsius in the south, with some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands cloudy, showers, heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 18-21 degrees Celsius, highest 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Southern region has clouds, showers, heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius, highest 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City is cloudy with showers and heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 24-26 degrees Celsius, highest 30-32 degrees Celsius./.
