The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from yesterday evening, today and tomorrow, the weather in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places.

Rainfall is generally 50-120mm, in some places over 250mm. Warning of risk of heavy rain (>150mm/3h).

From Nghe An to Ha Tinh, there will be showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.

Quang Tri to Hue and the South Central Coast sunny days, showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.

The Central Highlands and the South will have intermittent sunshine, with occasional showers and thunderstorms, and heavy rain in some places in the evening. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

At sea, the northern Gulf of Tonkin, the northern East Sea, the sea from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ho Chi Minh City, the area between the East Sea and the northern sea area of the southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) is rough.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
