The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, July 12, the weather in the Northeast, the west of Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An areas will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places will have very heavy rain. Rainfall is generally 30-60mm, locally over 120mm (heavy rain concentrated at night and morning).

Other places in the North, Ha Tinh and northern Quang Tri also have showers to heavy rain. Rainfall in some places is over 60mm.

South Central Coast region sunny, hot in some places. In the evening and at night, showers and thunderstorms in some places.

The Central Highlands and the South will have intermittent sunshine, with occasional showers and thunderstorms in some places, and heavy rain in some places in the evening. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Today, the Gulf of Tonkin, the northern sea area of the North East Sea, the eastern sea area of the central East Sea, the southern East Sea area (including the Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind in the thunderstorms.

In addition, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ho Chi Minh City, the central area of the East Sea is rough. All ships operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
