The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that last night and early this morning, December 5, the weather from southern Quang Tri to Da Nang City and eastern Quang Ngai province will have moderate to heavy rain. The average rainfall is 30-60mm, with some places having over 100mm.

Last night and today, the cold air continued to weakly affect other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions. On land, northeast wind level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4.

Light rain in some places in the North, scattered light rain in the North Central. Cold weather, some places in the high mountains of the North have severe cold. The lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the North and North Central is generally from 15-18 degrees Celsius, in the mountains it is generally from 13-15 degrees Celsius, some places below 12 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy and sunny during the day. Rain gradually decreases, only appearing in a few places, sunny time tends to increase, noon is quite hot. Humidity is somewhat low, high risk of fire and explosion.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin and the sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai have strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves 2-4m high, especially in the Gulf of Tonkin 2-3m, rough seas.

North East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone) strong northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 4-6m high, rough sea.

The sea area north of the central East Sea has strong northeast wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea.

From early morning, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau has had northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, and waves 2-4m high.
