According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on November 27, storm No. 15 operating in the central East Sea continued to increase in intensity and had unpredictable developments. The center of the storm was located at about 13.0 degrees North latitude, 114.5 degrees East longitude, about 190 km north of Song Tu Tay island.

The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm moves in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 15 km/h.

It is forecasted that by 4:00 a.m. on November 28, the storm will change direction slightly to the West Southwest and slow down, with the center of the storm at about 12.5 degrees North latitude; 113.15 degrees East longitude, about 190 km Northwest of Song Tu Tay Island. The storm intensity remains at level 12, gusts at level 15, and the moving speed will decrease to 5-10 km/hour.

At 4:00 a.m. on November 29, the center of the storm was forecast to be at about 12.9 degrees North latitude; 112.3 degrees East longitude, in the western sea area of ​​the central East Sea. The storm weakened to level 11, gusting to level 14 and changed direction to move to the West Northwest, then Northwest at a speed of about 5 km/hour.

By the morning of November 30, the storm continued to weaken. At 4:00 a.m. on November 30, the center of the storm was at about 13.7 degrees North latitude; 112.1 degrees East longitude, still in the western area of ​​the central East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm decreased to level 10, gusting to level 13. The storm moved in a North-Northwest direction at a speed of 3-5 km/hour.

Due to the influence of the storm combined with the strengthening cold air, strong winds have appeared in many areas at sea. In the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa sea area), strong northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 9; at Ly Son, Phu Quy and Bach Long Vi stations, strong winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 were recorded. Huyen Tran station area had strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 8.

In the central East Sea, especially the northern part of Truong Sa sea, strong winds are generally at level 7-9; near the eye of the storm, they reach level 10-12, gusting to level 15. Waves are 4-6 m high, near the eye of the storm, waves are 7-9 m high, and the sea is very rough. Coastal localities and vessels operating in the area are advised to regularly update storm bulletins, proactively take precautions and ensure safety.
