In 2025, Ha Tinh faced many difficulties due to storms and rains, causing many projects to stagnate. Currently, the weather is sunny and construction conditions are favorable, investors are focusing on urging contractors to mobilize human resources and equipment, work overtime day and night, determined to increase progress on key projects.
The Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extends to the East, 6.6 km long, starting at Thanh Sen ward, ending at National Highway 15B in Thach Lac commune. The project has a total investment of 1,498 billion VND, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026, with the Provincial Traffic Construction and Urban Development Project Management Board as the investor.
On the entire handed-over site, the joint venture of contractors 484 Joint Stock Company and 492 Joint Stock Company ( Nghe An province) is mobilizing maximum equipment and hundreds of workers divided into many construction teams: 4 roadbed teams, 3 drainage system teams, 2 bored pile drilling teams, 1 beam construction team and 2 Rao Cai bridge pier construction teams. At the same time, precast components are being continuously produced at the site to meet the construction schedule.
Rao Cai Bridge - an important part of the Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extending to the East has reached about 45% of its volume. CP 492 is simultaneously completing 4 piers and 2 abutments, performing underwater drilling and installing girder components. Due to the dependence on tides, engineers and workers have to take advantage of every hour according to the tide, working day and night to ensure progress requirements.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Hieu - Deputy Director of CP 484 Corporation said: "For a long time, the construction work was interrupted due to the weather, so in the past few days, taking advantage of the sunny weather, we have been working until 11pm every day to increase the volume. The contractor is facing difficulties in the source of materials when the supply is scarce and the price of land and sand is increasing. To proactively source raw materials, the company must expand its search and sign contracts at many mines in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, and Quang Tri ."
At the construction site of the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road DT.553 from Loc Yen to Ho Chi Minh trail, the construction unit is also rushing to complete the items after many days of interruption due to adverse weather.
Provincial road project DT.553 is 8.8 km long, starting at Loc Yen commune and ending at Ho Chi Minh road in Huong Do commune with a total investment of more than 300 billion VND. Up to now, contractors have completed the roadbed of over 8.6 km, the crushed stone foundation of 6.3 km and the asphalt concrete of 4.5 km. The sections that have been handed over are being focused on paving and completing the final items.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Phong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction and Urban Development Project Management Board said: "Currently, there are more than 90 projects under construction with the Board as the investor. We coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to remove obstacles in site clearance; focus on reviewing and speeding up capital disbursement, creating resources for construction contractors. The investor requires the construction unit to develop a specific plan and work overtime to keep up with progress. Up to now, the unit's capital disbursement rate has reached more than 60% and the target by January 31, 2026 is to strive for over 95%".
The Ha Tinh Province Civil and Infrastructure Construction Investment Management Board is also strengthening solutions to speed up site clearance and project construction progress. Not only traffic projects, many civil works are also being "pushed" to progress.
Currently, the construction progress of the 3-storey school building and administrative building project of Thien Cam Secondary School has reached about 85%. A representative of Thanh An Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company - the contractor said: The unit is mobilizing maximum human resources to install equipment, complete the project, and strive to hand over before December 31, 2025.
Recently, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee have directed relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to focus on site clearance, speed up construction progress of key projects, and increase the disbursement rate of public investment capital.
Most recently, on November 25, 2025, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued a document related to the preparation for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale projects to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party. The province requested investors, project management boards and contractors to seriously implement the Prime Minister's instructions in Official Dispatch 224/CD-TTg; focus on all solutions to complete projects and works, ensuring sufficient conditions for inauguration and groundbreaking.
At this time, at many construction sites in Ha Tinh, machines are operating continuously, workers are working across shifts. The urgent atmosphere shows the high determination of the entire construction industry in making up for progress, ensuring quality and the target of disbursing public investment capital according to plan. With the synchronous efforts from investors, contractors to localities, Ha Tinh hopes that many key projects will "finish" on time, creating an important driving force for socio-economic development in the coming years.
