From the night of May 19th to May 21st:
The Northeast region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces will experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with very heavy rain in some areas.
The Northwest region will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas receiving heavy to very heavy rain.
In the Central and Southern Central Highlands, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some areas experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.
In other areas, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with some areas experiencing heavy rain; during the day, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
From the night of May 21st until the end of the month:
Northern Vietnam, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms; particularly in the Northwest region of Northern Vietnam, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms on the night of May 21st. Widespread heatwaves are possible around May 23rd-26th.
The area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang City and the eastern parts of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are likely to experience widespread heatwaves from approximately May 23-27.
Other areas experienced scattered showers and thunderstorms on the night of May 21st, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain; the rain then subsided.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
