Within the framework of the Conference, the SBV delegation attended the Global Economic Conference and the Governors' Plenum. These are important forums for Governors and central bank representatives to exchange and update on new developments in the international economy and financial markets. These conferences also create opportunities for parties to share experiences, enhance cooperation and discuss trends affecting the operations of central banks in the coming period.

On the sidelines of the Conference, the SBV delegation had a technical working session with representatives of the Basel Committee to discuss the progress of Basel III implementation, focusing on technical issues in building and operating the internal rating-based approach (IRB) model, as well as international experience in monitoring model risks and managing data for capital calculation according to Basel standards.
BIS, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, was established in 1930. This is an international organization of central banks whose role is to promote international cooperation between central banks and other agencies for monetary and financial stability. Vietnam officially joined this organization in October 2020. To date, BIS has 63 members.
