Currently, the weather in the Lo Xo Pass area is still rainy, the soil and rocks on the slope are saturated with water, the risk of landslides and traffic congestion is still high. To ensure safety, the Department recommends that vehicles traveling through the pass area need to be especially careful, follow the instructions of the authorities and the on-site warning system. At the same time, drivers can proactively choose National Highway 19 or National Highway 24 to connect the Central Highlands region with National Highway 1, to ensure a safe journey, limiting the risk of landslides that may occur on Lo Xo Pass.

By the morning of October 31, Road Management Area IV had also transferred 40,000 steel baskets to the Central region, promptly serving the work of overcoming the consequences of floods. The Area has transferred a total of 40,000 steel baskets for flood and storm prevention to two heavily affected areas, Road Management Area II and Road Management Area III. Each unit was provided with 15,000 PVC-coated steel baskets measuring (2 x 1 x 0.5) m, 5,000 galvanized steel baskets measuring (2 x 1 x 0.5) m, along with ties and accessories.

In addition to rsa, Road Management Area IV has mobilized transport vehicles to organize the transportation of steel baskets to the Central localities. Currently, the trucks transporting steel baskets are still continuing their journey towards the Central region. The receiving units are proactively arranging human resources and means to receive and deploy repair work, effectively using materials to ensure safety and the fastest route clearance.
