In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of welcoming the New Year of the Horse 2026 - the spring that marks the beginning of a new development path for Ca Mau province, the Provincial Party Committee , the Provincial People's Council , the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully send their warmest greetings and best wishes for the New Year to all compatriots, cadres, soldiers, and people of all walks of life inside and outside the province; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces , policy beneficiary families, and those who have contributed to the nation; the business community; the sons and daughters of Ca Mau living, studying, and working far from home; and friends who are committed to and contributing to the development of the province.

The year 2025 concludes with many important milestones. It is the final year of implementing the socio - economic development plan for the period 2021-2025 , and also a year focused on implementing many major, strategic policies of the Central Government, especially the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model.
In this context, with the timely attention and support from the Central Government; the decisive leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the enthusiastic response of mass organizations; and the unity and solidarity of the people and the business community, Ca Mau province has achieved many important and comprehensive results in various fields: Economic growth rate reached approximately 8%; total social investment reached over 72,000 billion VND, an increase of more than 23% compared to the same period; budget revenue reached nearly 12,200 billion VND, exceeding the forecast by about 18%; the socio - cultural sector continued to make significant progress; social security work was implemented effectively, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses was implemented vigorously, bringing stable homes to thousands of disadvantaged households; national defense and security were maintained, and social order and safety were ensured.
In particular, over the past year, Ca Mau province has had the honor of welcoming the General Secretary and the Prime Minister to visit and work; thereby clearly affirming the strategic vision of the Central Government regarding the role and position of Ca Mau - a key economic development hub and gateway to the open sea at the southernmost tip of the country. Many strategic infrastructure projects have been launched, such as: the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway, the road to Hon Khoai island, the Hon Khoai dual-use general port , and the upgrading of Ca Mau airport… These are projects of special importance, creating a foundation and new impetus for Ca Mau to break through and develop rapidly and sustainably in the coming time.

Entering 2026 – the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress – Ca Mau enters a new phase of development with greater aspirations, a longer-term vision, and higher demands.
Faced with intertwined opportunities and challenges, the entire Party Committee, government, people, and business community of the province need to continue to uphold the tradition of unity; focus on innovation and creativity; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; mobilize and effectively utilize social resources; and resolutely implement policies and resolutions quickly, creating clear changes right from the first year of the new term .
With that belief and determination, Ca Mau province strives to successfully achieve its socio-economic development goals, building Ca Mau into a faster, greener, and more sustainable developing province in the new era.
On the occasion of the New Year, we wish all compatriots, officials, soldiers, and people of Ca Mau province, as well as everyone living, studying, and working in Ca Mau, a new year filled with good health, happiness, peace, and prosperity; and continued cooperation in building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Ca Mau homeland.
