Following the directive from the Drug Administration of Vietnam, a nationwide recall is being conducted for the batch of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Eye Drops, Registration Number: 893100060724, Batch Number: 10370725, Manufacturing Date: 14/7/2025, Expiry Date: 14/1/2028, manufactured by Pharmedic Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company.
The Department of Health requires businesses and users of the recalled drugs to cease trading, supplying, and distributing the aforementioned recalled batch; to recall and return the drugs to the distributors and submit a recall report to the Department before May 29, 2026 (if any).
Healthcare facilities and users of the recalled drugs must cease prescribing, selling, dispensing, and using the aforementioned recalled batch; recall the drugs, return them to the distributor, and submit a recall report to the department before May 29, 2026 (if applicable).
The Provincial Center for Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Testing is strengthening its efforts to monitor drug quality and collect samples for testing in the area, especially reviewing the aforementioned products.
Communes, wards, and special zones within the province, in coordination with relevant agencies, will strengthen inspection and supervision of retail pharmacies in their areas of management. They will strictly handle violations within their authority or refer cases to relevant agencies for handling according to the law.
The Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, in coordination with relevant functional agencies, will strengthen inspections of wholesale and retail drug establishments in the province, strictly handling violations within its authority or referring them to competent agencies for handling according to the law.
