Hanoi's 10th grade valedictorian scored 48.5/50 points

Candidate Nguyen Hoang Minh Quan has the following scores: Literature 9.25, Math 10 and English 10. In addition, Quan scored 8.25 in Math and IT and 7.2 in English, in which Literature and Math have coefficients of two.

According to the statistical report of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, this year, there are 117,361 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to public grade 10. Of which, more than 106,000 candidates registered their first choice to enter non-specialized grade 10. The quota for public grade 10 in Hanoi this year is approximately 81,000, an increase of about 4,000 compared to 2023.

In 2023, the valedictorian of grade 10 in Hanoi is Phuong Khai Minh, a former student of Nghia Tan Secondary School, with an admission score of 49/50.

As planned, on July 5, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will hold a meeting to review admission scores for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools and specialized high schools and announce admission scores immediately afterward.

Within 10 days from the date of score announcement, candidates can submit a request for review at the place of exam registration, and receive results no later than July 28.

From July 6 to July 9, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 at schools.

After announcing the exam scores, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will meet to approve the admission scores for grade 10 of public high schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
