On the afternoon of November 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation visited Tay Hoa commune, directly visited, encouraged and grasped the living conditions of the people after the recent heavy floods. As soon as he arrived, the Prime Minister met with the people, listened to their thoughts, wishes and the difficulties that each household was facing.
According to people's feedback, what they want most at this time is rice seeds to replant, in order to restore their livelihoods which are mainly based on agricultural production. Along with that, people are seriously lacking in labor tools and household items, after their houses collapsed or were severely damaged, their cattle were swept away, their rice seeds were wet and spoiled, and many assets were lost.

“People need rice seeds and resources to reproduce, to be able to stand up after the natural disaster,” a resident shared.
Listening to these sentiments, the Prime Minister emphasized that the working trip was in the spirit of representing the Party and the State to visit and share with the people in the flood-affected areas: “On this working trip, on behalf of the Party and the Government, first of all, we want to share the difficulties of the people after the recent floods. Then, we want to know what the people need, what their current accommodation is like, what their food and clothing are like; what production materials are lacking; what plant varieties need to be supplemented; how the children are studying; whether the medical facilities can meet the needs of medical examination and treatment during this period…”.

The Prime Minister said he will continue to work with local authorities to comprehensively assess the situation and, on that basis, propose appropriate support solutions. In the context of limited state resources, priority should be given to repairing and rebuilding houses to ensure the livelihoods of people, especially those with heavy losses.

In addition to the State's support, the Prime Minister called for solidarity in the community. "Now people must unite, unify, and help each other overcome this difficulty. The Party and State always care and will actively support people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production," Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.
