
On the morning of November 13, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central Working Group and local leaders inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13 in Gia Lai province.
At De Gi estuary (An Quang Dong village, De Gi commune, Gia Lai province), the Prime Minister visited and encouraged households whose houses had collapsed and suffered heavy damage due to the storm. The Prime Minister praised the spirit of solidarity and strict compliance with evacuation orders of the people before the storm made landfall.
“We welcome the people's solidarity and strict compliance with the Party and State's instructions in evacuation and relocation before the storm. The most precious and fortunate thing after this storm is that everyone's lives are safe,” the Prime Minister emphasized .

Talking to the Prime Minister, many households shared their difficulties and worries after the storm, hoping that the Party and State would pay attention to supporting housing and livelihoods; at the same time, have policies to extend bank debt and provide preferential loans to restore production and life.
Listening to every opinion and aspiration of the people, the Prime Minister said that the Party and State will continue to care for and support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, soon stabilizing their lives and restoring production and business.
In the immediate future, the Government will coordinate with localities to build coastal resettlement areas to accommodate households whose houses have collapsed.

“In the near future, a solid and safe resettlement area will be arranged for the people. Households whose houses collapsed will be rebuilt, with full support from the State. Households whose houses were damaged will be supported to repair and restore them,” said the Prime Minister.
Regarding the resettlement project in De Gi, the Prime Minister requested relevant units to closely coordinate with localities, mobilize military and police forces to urgently deploy and strive to complete it by December 2025.


The Prime Minister also acknowledged the recommendations and proposals of people affected by the storm, and assigned the Government and ministries and branches to consider specific support mechanisms to help people stabilize their lives, create jobs, and ensure long-term livelihoods.





Debt extension and capital support for damaged businesses
On the same morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the damage caused by storm No. 13 at enterprises in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (Gia Lai province); visited and encouraged workers and leaders of the companies: Fago Animal Feed, HD Nhon Hoi, Tan Dai Hung.

The Prime Minister praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties of enterprises, and at the same time requested local Party committees and authorities to mobilize maximum forces to support enterprises in cleaning and repairing factories, and soon restoring production and business.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the highest determination is needed to avoid disruption of the production chain, maintain orders and reputation with customers, thereby creating jobs and stable income for the people. The Government will have preferential loan support packages, debt extension and forgiveness for businesses that have suffered heavy losses.

The Prime Minister said he will ask the Ministry of Finance to study policies to reduce taxes, fees, and charges to help businesses overcome difficulties soon.
