Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh departs for Laos to co-chair the 48th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee.

On December 2, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh left for Laos to co-chair the 48th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee from December 2 to 3, 2025 in Vientiane, at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonexay Siphandone.

The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister included Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Committee Nguyen Van Thang; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh; Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh; Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh; Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc; Deputy Head of the Government Office Trinh Manh Linh; Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam.
