The Prime Minister and members of the delegation vow to be absolutely loyal to the ideal goals of the Communist Party of Vietnam , forever follow the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and the people; join hands, be united, and be determined to build the homeland and country into a new era, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise, to develop richly, civilizedly, and prosperously, and for the people to become increasingly happy and well-off.

Next, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families in An Giang province, including: Mr. Pham Phong Hai (born in 1952, a war invalid with 69% loss of labor capacity, currently residing in Chau Doc ward), Mr. Huynh Van Anh (born in 1967, a war invalid with 81% loss of labor capacity, currently residing in Chau Doc ward), and the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Co (born in 1940, a person with revolutionary contributions, currently residing in Binh My commune).
Sending sincere regards, deep gratitude and best wishes to war invalids, sick soldiers, meritorious people and their families, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Party, State and people always remember and deeply appreciate the great contributions and sacrifices of meritorious people.
The Prime Minister hopes that war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services will always be shining examples to continue to encourage their children and grandchildren, and educate the younger generation about the dedication and sacrifice of previous generations, constantly promote the tradition of deep patriotism, heroic revolution, and indomitable spirit; set an example in implementing and mobilizing the people to well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, be a solid support for the Party Committee and authorities at all levels, and contribute more to the homeland and the country.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister requested ministries, sectors and localities to further promote the tradition of "repaying gratitude", the morality of "remembering the source of water", continue to care for the material and spiritual life, and implement policies for those with meritorious services better and better.
At the house of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Co, who just received a new house in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Prime Minister said that the whole country has been joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide with the spirit of "whoever has something helps, whoever has property helps property, whoever has merit helps merit, whoever has a lot helps a lot, whoever has a little helps a little".
The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State have no other goal than to firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the country and to care for the people to have an increasingly prosperous and happy life, both materially and spiritually; in which, striving to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for people with revolutionary contributions before July 27 and complete the entire program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide before August 31.
An Giang province is currently managing well over 87,860 records of people with revolutionary contributions and related people according to regulations; of which over 14,000 people with contributions receive monthly allowances.
Immediately after the Prime Minister launched the emulation movement for the whole country to join hands to "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, Kien Giang and An Giang provinces actively responded with a determined and urgent spirit.
Up to now, An Giang province (new) has completed the construction and repair, handing over 6,774 houses to households to "settle down and make a living", with a total value of more than 420 billion VND from the State budget and social mobilization. Of which, the old Kien Giang province has completed the construction and repair of 3,618 houses, with a total value of nearly 213 billion VND; the old An Giang province has completed the construction and repair of 3,156 houses, with a total value of over 207 billion VND.
The total number of meritorious households in An Giang province that received support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses is 2,024 households.
