Previously, at around 6:30 p.m. on May 2, in Thua Thien-Hue, a "golden" rain appeared to cool down after many days of peak heat of 42-43 degrees Celsius. However, the heavy rain was also accompanied by thunderstorms, causing many trees to fall.

That very night, authorities in many localities coordinated to clean up and ensure traffic safety for people.

Currently, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Thua Thien-Hue province is checking and calculating the damage caused by the storm on the evening of May 2.
