On October 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden (1969-2024), the Embassy of Sweden in Vietnam and the Swedish Trade Office in Vietnam held the opening ceremony of the “Sweden Green Exhibition” and launched the publication “Sweden - Vietnam Business Imprint”, affirming their commitment to promoting deeper cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam for a green future.

The exhibition is part of the Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE 2024) jointly organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade . At the opening ceremony, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Johan Ndisi, emphasized that the “Sweden Green Exhibition” is not only an exhibition but also a cooperation platform to strengthen partnerships and promote Vietnam’s green transition. By introducing its solutions, the Swedish side hopes to inspire closer cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam. The "Sweden Green Exhibition" is attended by a number of leading Swedish companies in green technology, introducing products and the latest updates on practical solutions to address practical requirements in Vietnam. The exhibition is also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses and partners to seek cooperation opportunities with Swedish businesses in green economic development, especially in renewable energy development, emission reduction, circular economy and new technology.
Green Sweden connects Vietnamese leaders with Swedish companies, providing a platform to discover valuable partners who can enhance Vietnam’s green initiatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights from industry experts and discover practical solutions tailored to local challenges. The exhibition, with leading companies such as Atlas Copco, Ecolearn, Ericsson, H&M, Hitachi Energy, Husqvarna and Trelleborg, focuses on renewable energy, emission reduction, circular economy and new technologies, with the aim of helping Vietnam strengthen its global position and attract investment.
