The theme emphasizes that integration is not only a goal for people with disabilities, but also a foundation for sustainable development of the whole society. Integration starts from simple things: a more convenient path for wheelchair users, a lecture adapted for hearing-impaired students, or a respectful and sincere listening attitude in communication to greater things in changing policies and laws... When everyone has the opportunity to contribute and develop, the community becomes stronger and more humane.
According to statistics from the Hue City Department of Health, there are currently 36,048 people with disabilities in the area. In 2025, the Association of People with Disabilities - Support for People with Disabilities and Orphans of the City mobilized resources of more than 5.8 billion VND to carry out medical assistance activities; educational support; assistance to improve living conditions; livelihood assistance activities, poverty reduction... for people with disabilities. In addition, the City Association also connected relief resources to support people affected by floods in October and November 2025 with a total budget of nearly 2.1 billion VND.
On this occasion, the City Association awarded certificates of merit to three disabled athletes who won medals (in the 100m, 200m and long jump races) at the 2025 National Para Athletics Championship.
