Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang, owner of Hoang Duong motorbike business in Dong Tam village, Dinh Van Lam commune, shared that for him and many other business owners, tax policies are quite difficult to understand and access. However, with the support of tax officials at Tax Office 4, accessing tax information has become much faster. Mr. Hoang said: “Our businesses and households share a Zalo and Facebook group created by tax officials. These groups provide full updates on tax information and changes in tax regulations… If anything is unclear, we just need to message them, and the tax officials answer very quickly and specifically, helping us to understand the information clearly.”
According to Mr. Hoang Huu Nam, Deputy Head of Tax Office 4 in Lam Dong province, Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang is one of 6,000 business households under his unit's management. The area covers 10 communes in the Lam Ha - Dam Rong region. Mr. Nam stated that tax policies have undergone many changes, causing difficulties for business households. Therefore, to ensure that business households and enterprises can access tax information quickly and accurately, tax officials in the communes have created Zalo groups for each village, providing quick and accurate information as well as direct consultation to households. Mr. Nam affirmed that in practice, disseminating information via Zalo is a very effective method due to its speed, conciseness, and direct reach to business households.
Establish steering committees for revenue collection.
Mr. Huynh Ba Ngoc, Head of Tax Office No. 4, stated that strengthening the management of revenue sources in the communes is an extremely important task for the unit. Therefore, Tax Office No. 4 has established "Revenue Collection and Debt Collection Steering Committees" in the communes under its jurisdiction. "We closely coordinate with the commune governments to establish these 'Revenue Collection and Debt Collection Steering Committees' to effectively collect revenue. Alongside the Steering Committee, we have established implementation teams to advise the Steering Committee on revenue collection. It is crucial to emphasize the role of the commune governments in revenue collection," Mr. Ngoc shared.
Mr. Huynh Ba Ngoc emphasized that the Steering Committee is a concrete step in implementing the regulations of the Tax Management Law and the Provincial People's Committee's directive on the responsibilities of commune-level People's Committees in managing and exploiting revenue sources for the budget, ensuring budget revenue targets are met, while also ensuring room for and implementing socio -economic development plans according to a double-digit growth roadmap. In the coming period, the tax authorities will actively monitor the directives to guide businesses and enterprises to continue to follow and implement tax regulations.
Thanks to effective communication and close coordination by the tax sector, as well as close cooperation with local authorities, businesses, and households, Tax Sub-district 4 has achieved its revenue collection target as stipulated and is accelerating towards reaching its goal early in 2026.
