Lam Dong province's tax revenue has reached nearly 30 trillion VND for the first time.

Attending the conference were: Mr. Mai Son, Deputy Director of the Tax Department; Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province; and leaders, officials, and employees of the Lam Dong Provincial Tax Department.

According to the report presented at the Conference, in 2025, in order to strive to complete the assigned State budget revenue target, Lam Dong Provincial Tax Department has focused on implementing comprehensive and decisive solutions for revenue management, urging the recovery of outstanding tax debts, and thoroughly exploiting potential revenue sources to compensate for budget revenue shortfalls.

Thanks to the close attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee; the synchronized involvement of the entire political system; the support of the people and the business community; and the perseverance of the tax officials, the state budget revenue collection in the province in 2025 exceeded the assigned target.

As a result, Lam Dong's state budget revenue is considered an impressive figure, the highest ever. Specifically, by December 31, 2025, total state budget revenue in Lam Dong reached 32,000 billion VND, achieving 120% of the local budget estimate and 100% of the additional central government budget estimate. The total domestic revenue of the Lam Dong Tax Department in 2025 alone reached 29,832 billion VND, achieving 118% of the central government budget estimate and 112% of the provincial People's Council budget estimate, an increase of 17% compared to the same period.

The conference was held online, connecting the Lam Dong Provincial Tax Department and other regional tax offices.

At the conference, representatives from various departments and local tax offices presented papers, focusing on analyzing achievements, identifying shortcomings and limitations, and proposing solutions and measures to effectively implement tax work tasks in 2026.

In implementing its tasks for 2026, Lam Dong Provincial Tax Department has set out 7 tasks with 3 groups of solutions aimed at focusing all resources and decisively and synchronously implementing all tax management solutions "based on target groups combined with functions".

In particular, the Lam Dong Tax Department prioritizes taxpayers in its service; actively collects and recovers tax debts, combats budget revenue losses, and strives to achieve and surpass the state budget revenue targets assigned by the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee in 2026.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son requested that the Lam Dong Tax Department continue to strengthen digital transformation in its field; and pay attention to connecting data with other functional departments to facilitate citizens and businesses in fulfilling their tax obligations.

The sector needs to focus on improving personnel management, creating favorable conditions for staff to dedicate themselves to their work under the new model, building unity; strengthening internal inspection and supervision, and preventing negative incidents from occurring.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that achieving a total revenue of nearly 30,000 billion VND managed by the Tax Department in 2025 is a very impressive result, creating an important financial foundation for the province to enter a new development term with the goal of rapid and sustainable growth.

In particular, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the coordination between the Tax Department and the provincial departments, agencies, and Party committees and authorities of communes and wards in tax management be further strengthened and improved; and that administrative discipline be further promoted, working methods be rectified, and the quality of tax officials be improved.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep requested the Tax Department to focus on decisively implementing the tasks of collecting state budget revenue, striving to complete and exceed the assigned targets; strengthening revenue management, combating revenue loss, especially in the recovery of outstanding debts; resolutely fighting against transfer pricing and tax fraud, ensuring that revenue is collected correctly, fully, and promptly for the budget.

This will create a solid foundation for completing the province's financial and budgetary tasks for the 2026-2030 period and effectively implementing tax management for household businesses and private enterprises under the new model.

Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son presented certificates of commendation from the Ministry of Finance to collectives and individuals of the Lam Dong Provincial Police.

On this occasion, the Tax Department awarded certificates of merit from the Ministry of Finance to 5 collectives and 5 individuals from the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department for their outstanding contributions to tax work in 2025; and awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 8 collectives and 14 individuals from the Lam Dong Tax Department for their outstanding performance in 2025.
