According to the Provincial Tax Department, with the spirit of putting taxpayers at the center of service, in 2025, the entire sector actively implemented tax policies, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers to invest in business development, voluntarily fulfill their tax obligations, and nurture revenue sources.
At the same time, we will resolutely and comprehensively implement many measures in tax management and collection, combat tax evasion, and ensure that tax obligations are collected correctly, fully, and fairly.
As a result, total domestic revenue reached 27,783 billion VND, exceeding the central government's projected target by 40.1%, exceeding the provincial People's Council's projected target by 21.3%, increasing by 26.8% compared to 2024, and reaching its highest level ever.

In 2026, the Government and the Provincial People's Council assigned the Provincial Tax Department to collect 27,082 billion VND, but to have more resources for investment, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the entire tax sector to collect more than 31,477 billion VND in domestic taxes.
To ensure the fulfillment of assigned tasks, the Provincial Tax Department focuses on reviewing all tax categories and revenue sources, thereby developing tax collection scenarios for each month and quarter, and regularly analyzing the reasons for increases or decreases in revenue to implement appropriate and effective tax management and collection measures.
The entire sector continues to increase the information technology content, comprehensively digitize tax management, and actively support taxpayers in investing in and developing their production and business activities.
In addition, it is necessary to strictly manage revenue sources, especially newly generated revenue; and urge organizations, individuals, and businesses to declare and pay taxes in accordance with regulations. On the other hand, strengthen measures to prevent and combat fraudulent activities in the use of electronic invoices; collect and handle tax debts, and combine measures to combat tax evasion…
Speaking at the conference, Director of the Tax Department Mai Xuan Thanh noted that the Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department should continue to strengthen its efforts in disseminating information and supporting taxpayers, creating favorable conditions for them to invest, develop production and business, and voluntarily fulfill their tax obligations.
At the same time, comprehensively identify revenue sources, leverage information technology to serve tax management and collection, and integrate it with inspection and enforcement to ensure accurate and complete tax collection.
Delivering a directive speech at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh acknowledged and commended the determination and efforts of the provincial tax sector, contributing to the province's successful achievement of socio-economic development targets for 2025.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Tax Department to continue to prioritize the people and businesses in its service, improving the level of satisfaction of the people, businesses, and taxpayers with the services provided by the Provincial Tax Department.
In that spirit, the entire industry must actively cooperate with and support taxpayers in developing their production and business, voluntarily paying taxes, and nurturing revenue sources.
In addition, review all taxes and revenue sources in all sectors, and develop specific solutions to strictly manage tax declarations, ensuring that taxes are collected correctly and fully from the beginning of the year.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen efforts to combat tax evasion and strictly handle cases of fraud and tax avoidance. The provincial tax authority also needs to strengthen administrative discipline and order, enhance the sense of responsibility of officials and civil servants in performing their duties, and use the satisfaction of citizens and businesses and the results of budget revenue collection as a measure to evaluate the competence of officials.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Finance awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 6 individuals from the Provincial Police for their outstanding achievements in coordinating with tax authorities to combat revenue loss, contributing to the completion and exceeding of the state budget revenue target for 2025.
The Tax Department also awarded certificates of commendation to 10 collectives and 213 individuals belonging to the Provincial Tax Department who had achieved good results in tax work.
The provincial tax office awarded certificates of commendation to 4 collectives and 56 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the 60-day intensive plan to transition from lump-sum tax to tax declaration for business households.
