Spanning approximately 18 hectares amidst the lush green Tien Lake and surrounded by towering limestone mountains, Thung Nham creates an ideal "common home" for tens of thousands of birds belonging to 46 different species. For over 20 years, it has become a familiar stopover, a refuge, and a breeding ground for birds of all kinds, from the pure white egrets and agile herons to rare species listed in the Red Book such as the Common Crane and the Great Hornbill.

The unique topography of Thung Nham, with its high cliffs, abundant vegetation, and rare tranquility, provides ideal conditions for birds to build nests and thrive. During the peak breeding season, the entire garden comes alive with the vibrant sounds of thousands of birds calling to each other and the rustling of their wings. The sight of flocks of birds soaring in the sky at sunset, chirping and calling to each other as they return to their nests, amidst the majestic mountain scenery, creates a vivid and enchanting natural landscape.

What makes Thung Nham Bird Garden particularly appealing to visitors is the friendly and approachable nature of the birds there. Visitors can easily observe them up close without feeling frightened. Each species possesses its own unique beauty, together creating a "colorful tapestry" of the wild world.

To fully explore this beauty, visitors can choose to travel by boat or bicycle. Sitting in a small boat gently gliding across the lake, or strolling along a tree-lined trail, you'll have the opportunity to witness flocks of birds soaring freely. Each trip not only offers wonderful visual experiences but also a chance to hear stories about the unique ecosystem and living habits of each species from the local boatmen. They are not only guides but also enthusiastic "forest guardians," always reminding visitors to maintain peace and quiet, not to litter, and absolutely not to harm the birds' habitat.

Visiting Thung Nham Bird Garden, tourists not only admire the wild beauty of nature but also find rare peace and tranquility. Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, this place offers a fresh and relaxing space, helping you regenerate energy and find balance. The majestic mountain scenery, the fresh air, and the lively sounds of countless birds will surely leave a deep and lasting impression on everyone.
