According to the report presented at the meeting, the reorganization and streamlining of the administrative apparatus in Dat Moi commune has been carried out urgently, decisively, and on schedule, contributing to the uniformity and consistency within the entire Party committee, and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of serving the people when operating the two-tiered local government.
Dat Moi Commune was formed by merging the entire Lam Hai Commune and parts of Nam Can Town, Ham Rong Commune, and Vien An Commune. The Party Committee has 40 subordinate Party organizations with over 700 Party members. The total allocated staff for Dat Moi Commune is 320 people. By the end of 2025, Dat Moi Commune aims to achieve and surpass 10 out of 11 set targets.
During the operation of the two-tiered local government system, Dat Moi commune is facing difficulties due to the deterioration of rural transportation infrastructure; the transfer and application of science and technology, especially in agriculture , fisheries, and digital transformation at the grassroots level, have not seen many breakthroughs and have not met the requirements; the physical facilities of some schools are dilapidated; there is a shortage of 12 professional staff positions in accounting and information technology; and there is a shortage of 16 doctors and nurses working at the commune's health station.
During the meeting, the leaders of Dat Moi commune requested the Provincial People's Committee to approve the investment in the second phase of Nam Can Primary School to organize boarding school programs; to include the road from the Ho Chi Minh Highway resettlement area to the East-West axis in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030; to provide funding for the construction of infrastructure in the resettlement area serving the Ho Chi Minh Highway project; and to expedite the investment in the construction of the embankment to prevent flooding along the section from Nam Can Bridge - Ong Gay - Gach Xeo Doi.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, praised and acknowledged the achievements of Dat Moi commune; at the same time, he expressed his hope that the Party Committee, government, and people of the commune would be even more determined and resolute to create a solid foundation for 2026; pay attention to digital transformation among the people, especially in rural areas; review the tasks assigned to the commune by the Central and Provincial governments; focus on resolving administrative procedures, aiming for a paperless government; and build a team of qualified and skilled officials to meet the requirements and tasks assigned.

In addition, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, requested the commune leaders to focus on building a clean and strong Party and political system, fostering internal unity, and improving the quality of Party branch activities in hamlets; implementing key resolutions of the Politburo related to people's lives, especially education and health; paying attention to directing the development of forestry, fisheries, and other strengths of the commune; prioritizing planning and disbursement of public investment capital; addressing complaints and denunciations from the people; maintaining security, order, and social safety at the end of the year and during the Lunar New Year 2026; and paying attention to preparing well for the election of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels.
Prior to this, the delegation conducted a field survey at several kindergartens and primary schools in the commune.
