On the morning of December 15th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to hear reports and provide guidance on tasks and solutions for adjusting the Vinh Long provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; developing regulations on the initial land price list in the province; and handling matters according to the Working Regulations of the Provincial Party Committee.

After hearing the report from the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee on the proposed adjustments to the Vinh Long provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and presentations from the design consulting units, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee noted that the planning must be long-term, strategic, and ensure sustainable and comprehensive development in socio- economic aspects, national defense, and security. Regarding the establishment of the first land price regulations in the province, which plays a crucial role in managing and implementing many socio-economic policies, from determining financial obligations for land users to collecting taxes, fees, and charges, it must be carried out rigorously, scientifically, and democratically in accordance with the law.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee gave its opinion and agreed on the content of the submission from the Provincial Military Party Committee requesting approval to select an additional location in the former Vinh Long province to organize the 2026 Military-Civilian Tet celebration; and the submission from the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee requesting approval for support with automobiles to serve the activities of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province and the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province.
