The Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium and the EU has launched a database of EU businesses importing agricultural products, food, and beverages.

Following the directives of Acting Minister Le Manh Hung at the 2025 Vietnam Trade Counselor Conference and to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium and the EU has collaborated with partners to complete the development of a database on EU businesses importing agricultural products, food, and beverages.

The data is divided into two fields: business information by country and by industry.

The database for each country consists of 27 Excel files, corresponding to the 27 EU member states. Each country's Excel file contains 12 to 15 product categories, including: tea and coffee, dairy products, frozen foods, seafood, meat, pasta, fruits and vegetables, beverages, cereals, sugar and honey, spices, organic products, frozen processed foods, and sports nutrition. Depending on the number of importers involved, each product category has approximately 100 local businesses.

The industry data is divided into 12 Excel files, corresponding to 12 groups of Vietnamese goods exported to the EU, including confectionery and snacks, tea and coffee, rice and grains, spices, seafood, frozen goods, jams and honey, noodles and vermicelli, fruit juices, organic food, fruits and vegetables, and sports nutrition products. Each Excel file contains 27 pages related to the 27 EU member countries, with each page containing information on approximately 100-200 businesses.

The entire database contains approximately over 30,000 entries of business information.

According to data protection law, this EU enterprise database is protected by two layers of security: membership registration (free) and password protection for each data file.
