This was a match where Thùy Linh's opponent was 10 years younger than her. Specifically, Thùy Linh was born in 1997, while Opatniputh was born in 2007. This somewhat reflects the physical advantage of the Thai player.

Opatniputh is also a badminton player who is making rapid progress. She is also known as the "Thai badminton hot girl" thanks to her attractive appearance.

With a longer reach, Opatniputh got off to a strong start in the first set, leading 6-1. Thuy Linh struggled with numerous unforced errors, hitting the net or going out of bounds many times. Midway through the match, Opatniputh took a large lead of 11-5.

But upon her return, Thuy Linh changed her playing style and caused difficulties for her opponent. The Vietnamese player repeatedly engaged in rallies to put pressure on her opponent. When her opponent defended well, she switched to long rallies and seized opportunities effectively. As a result, the gap gradually narrowed, eventually becoming a 14-14 tie.

From here, Thùy Linh started to pull ahead to win 21-18. In the second set, the two players continued to create a breathtaking contest.

This time, Thùy Linh took a 3-1 lead before Opatniputh reversed the situation, making her 11-6 down. However, with her superior skill and experience, Thùy Linh fought back strongly and eventually leveled the score at 18-18. But at this point, the Vietnamese player's stamina seemed to be declining rapidly.

Opatniputh, eager to capitalize on the opportunity, repeatedly missed shots. The two players engaged in a prolonged back-and-forth battle. When the score was 25-24 in Opatniputh's favor, Thùy Linh scored a point with a clear.

The Thai player used her right to challenge the shot, which was deemed out. This allowed her to win the set 26-24, taking the match to a third set. At this point, Thuy Linh's stamina was depleted, leaving her unable to continue the fight.

Opatniputh, with his youthful energy and resilience, won convincingly 21-12 to advance to the semi-finals. For Thùy Linh, the unfortunate comeback defeat meant her elimination despite her impressive previous victories.
