From the advice of Harry Kane and Robbie Fowler...
Young striker Williams Lee is currently a notable face in V-League 2025. He was born in 2007, is 1.90 m tall, has British nationality and his mother is Vietnamese. This 18-year-old striker shared that the decision to return to Vietnam to play was not spontaneous, but came from sincere advice from Harry Kane and Robbie Fowler. Lee said: "I am only 18 years old and my professional career has just begun, so seeking advice from famous players and former players is very necessary. Harry Kane and Robbie Fowler both advised me that tournaments like V-League are a great environment to gain experience and develop myself." It was from those shares that he decided to go to Vietnam - his mother's homeland - to start his professional journey.
Having just set foot in the new football environment, Lee quickly felt the difference. He admitted that the V-League has a very high intensity, not only in competition but also in training. "At first, I had a lot of difficulties integrating, but this helped me to mature more," Lee said. He said he was particularly impressed with the fast-changing playing style of clubs in Vietnam, including the Ho Chi Minh City Police team: "That made me very excited, because for a striker, this way of playing creates more scoring opportunities."

Williams Lee's most memorable moment came in the most recent round (round 11), when he scored his first goal in the V-League, when Ho Chi Minh City Police Club faced Ninh Binh team at Thong Nhat Stadium on November 9. "It feels unbelievable to have scored for the team. This is not only my first goal in the V-League, it is also the first professional goal in my career. It will definitely be memorable. I want to dedicate this goal to my family, for all the efforts they have put in over the years to help me get to where I am today.
