Northern region

The price of live pigs today (December 23, 2024) in the Northern region recorded an increase in prices in the provinces of Bac Giang , Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Tuyen Quang, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in the North are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh set the highest new price list in the country at 69,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 23, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded a price adjustment in Nghe An province, bringing the price of live pigs in this province to 67,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, the two highest prices in the region are 68,000 VND/kg and 67,000 VND/kg respectively belonging to Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces. Live pig prices are commonly trading at 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities in this region.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 23, 2024) recorded price fluctuations in the two provinces of Binh Duong and Bac Lieu, both increasing by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 67,000 VND/kg and 64,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Currently, traders in the South are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 63,000 to 67,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau are the localities with the highest prices in the region, reaching 67,000 VND/kg. Kien Giang, Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces still maintain the price of 63,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

In general, the price of live pigs today continued to increase in all three regions, in which the North set a new peak of 69,000 VND/kg in the three provinces of Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh. According to a survey, the price of live pigs nationwide is commonly fluctuating from 63,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
