314 units of blood were collected at the 2026 Spring Blood Donation Festival.

On the morning of January 16th, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Provincial Police and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organized the 2026 voluntary blood donation program with the theme "Donating blood in early spring - Multiplying happiness".

Leaders from the Red Cross Society, the Provincial Police, and the Provincial Youth Union encouraged volunteers to participate in blood donation at the event.

With the spirit of "Every drop of blood donated saves a life," the event attracted the active participation of 350 officers and soldiers of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police who registered to donate blood voluntarily. The volunteers underwent screening and health checks, ensuring compliance with professional medical procedures.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 314 units of blood, contributing to replenishing the blood reserve to serve emergency and treatment needs for patients during the Tet holiday.

The Provincial Police Department is the first unit in the province to participate in the 2026 Spring Festival of Compassion. This is a meaningful activity organized annually to promote the spirit of kindness and sharing for the community, especially at the beginning of the new spring.
