(QBĐT) - On December 19 and 20, the Traffic Police force of the provincial Public Security received many homemade weapons and fireworks voluntarily handed over by people.

Specifically, on the afternoon of October 19, while on duty on National Highway 12A, the patrol control team of the Road Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police received a box of fireworks weighing 1.1 kg and 2 homemade guns voluntarily handed over by Mr. Dinh Thanh Tra (born in 1988), residing in Tan Thanh commune (Minh Hoa).

The provincial traffic police force received two homemade guns and firecrackers voluntarily handed over by residents of Tan Thanh commune (Minh Hoa).

Then, on December 20, in Dong Hoi City, the Traffic Police Team of the Road Traffic Police Department, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police received a box of fireworks weighing 1.1 kg handed over by Mr. Hoang Van Dung (born in 1984), working at the Dong Hoi Road Bridge and Bridge under Quang Binh Railway Joint Stock Company. This box of fireworks was accidentally discovered by Mr. Dung while patrolling the road, so he contacted and handed it over to the Traffic Police Team.

Recently, the police force has increased propaganda to help people understand and voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks, contributing to maintaining peace in people's lives.
