These are all works that are not only highly artistic but also imbued with national spirit, reflecting Vietnamese life and soul through each historical period.

Not only songs, the archive also includes arrangements, musical scripts for musicals, film music, famous stage plays such as: Tam Cam , Truong Ba's Soul in the Butcher's Skin , Stage and Life , Dieu Khong The Mam ...

He passed the entrance exam to the Mathematics department of the Pedagogical University but soon gave up to pursue his passion for music, studying at the Vietnam Conservatory of Music and graduating in 1966.

For him, music is not only a profession, but also a mission attached to the national culture. He diligently exploits folk music materials from different regions to put into his compositions, creating a unique and rich musical style. His songs are both rustic and profound, easy to touch people's hearts but also full of artistic power.

Right from the years of the anti-American resistance war, he made his mark with Quan Ho Girls - a song imbued with the lyrical character of the Northern Delta, but resounding in the midst of bombs and bullets, like a passionate love song about people and homeland.

After that, there were a series of works that were loved by the public and performed by generations of famous singers such as: On Phu Van Peak , A Glimpse of West Lake , Flow, Oh River , Truong Chi ...
