Receiving support for the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions of Thieu Tien and Thieu Quang communes

On December 1, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received support from Thieu Tien and Thieu Quang communes to support the people in the Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered heavy losses due to the recent floods.

Thieu Tien commune leaders presented a symbolic 200 million VND to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to mobilize support for people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods, officials and people of Thieu Quang commune donated 300 million VND, officials and people of Thieu Tien commune donated 200 million VND, to join hands to help people in flooded areas overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Phuong spoke at the reception.

Speaking at the reception, the leader of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee respectfully expressed his thanks to the collectives and individuals who have paid attention and shared promptly with the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions; and emphasized: "This is not only a practical source of support but also a profound expression of the spirit of solidarity, affection and the tradition of "helping each other" of the Thanh Hoa people".

The entire support fund of the two communes will be reported by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the provincial leaders and transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for timely allocation to the damaged localities in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
