According to the announcement issued on April 24 by the State Bank: The total volume of gold bars expected to continue to be auctioned is 16,800 taels. The deposit rate is 10%. The minimum auction volume of a member is 1,400 taels, the maximum auction volume of a member is 2,000 taels.
Previously, on April 23, the State Bank held an auction to sell SJC gold bars with a volume of 16,800 taels. This auction saw the participation of 11 units, including 7 commercial banks and four enterprises: Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ), Gold and Gems Group ( DOJI ), Phu Quy Jewelry Group.
As a result of the auction, only two members won the bid (Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( ACB ) and SJC Company) with a winning bid volume of 34 lots (3,400 taels of gold), equal to 1/5 of the amount of SJC gold bars that the State Bank of Vietnam put up for auction.
Highest winning bid price: 81,330,000 VND/tael. Lowest winning bid price: 81,320,000 VND/tael.
