Continue to promote propaganda work between the two armies of Vietnam and Laos

According to VNA correspondent in Vientiane, at the reception, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc congratulated the great achievements that the Party, State, Army and people of Laos have achieved in recent times. Despite many difficulties and challenges, Laos has still achieved many important results in the fields of economy, politics and society; national defense and security have been maintained; people's lives have been constantly improved; and Laos's international position and prestige have been increasingly enhanced. In particular, Laos is organizing many meaningful activities towards the 50th anniversary of National Day - a great event of the brotherly country.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc expressed that, in the context of many fluctuations in the world and regional situation, intertwined with both opportunities and challenges in the trend of international integration, on the basis of the 2025 Cooperation Plan between the two Ministries of National Defense and the two General Departments of Politics, the Propaganda Department of the two countries will continue to promote cooperation in propaganda and education on the meaning and importance of strengthening the traditional relationship, great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, two Armies in the new situation, fighting to defeat all plots and tricks of hostile forces to divide the solidarity and special friendship between the two countries.

Lieutenant General Vongsone Inpanphim highly appreciated the visit and work of the delegation of the Department of Propaganda and Training, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; affirmed that the visit contributed to further fostering and consolidating the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, two Armies in general as well as between the two Departments of Propaganda and Training, General Department of Politics of the People's Armies of the two countries in particular, increasingly tightening and developing sustainably. He emphasized that the two sides need to continue to promote propaganda and education on revolutionary traditions for generations of cadres and soldiers, especially the young generation of the two armies, helping them understand more deeply the great friendship between Laos and Vietnam, Vietnam and Laos, the loyal, pure, and everlasting relationship.

In the context of complex and unpredictable developments in the region and the world, Lieutenant General Vongsone Inpanphim suggested that the two sides strengthen closer coordination, especially in the field of propaganda, to contribute to maintaining the Party's ideological position in the army, consolidating the special solidarity bloc between Vietnam and Laos. He also suggested that the Propaganda Department of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army continue to pay attention and support in professional expertise and related fields, helping the coordination between the two Propaganda Departments to become more substantial and effective, contributing to the strong development of the two armies.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Vongsone Inpanphim, authorized by the Prime Minister of Laos, awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals of the Lao Party and State to Vietnamese officers and those with outstanding achievements in surveying and preserving relics of Route 559 - Ho Chi Minh Trail in Lao territory.
