From 3:00 p.m. on August 1, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND1,152/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by VND1,171/liter; Diesel increased by VND1,112/liter; Kerosene increased by VND1,081/liter and fuel oil increased by VND806/kg.
Domestic gasoline and oil prices continued to increase sharply in today's operating period (August 1) after setting aside the price stabilization fund (BOG).
Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND1,152/liter, to VND22,791/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline was VND23,963/liter, an increase of VND1,171/liter. Diesel increased by VND1,112/liter, to VND20,612/liter. Kerosene increased by VND1,081/liter, the new price is VND20,270/liter and fuel oil increased by VND806/kg, to VND16,531.
In this management period, the joint ministries decided to stop setting up the price stabilization fund (BOG) for all petroleum products. In the opposite direction, the fund was spent at 400 VND/liter for diesel and 300 VND/liter for kerosene.
Most recently (July 21), after setting aside the price stabilization fund, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND1,220/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline increased by VND1,295/liter. Diesel increased by VND884/liter. Kerosene increased by VND869/liter and fuel oil increased by VND437/kg.
According to Decree 95/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 83/2014 on gasoline and oil trading, effective from January 2, 2022, gasoline and oil prices are adjusted three times a month on the 1st, 11th and 21st of each month (ie every 10 days, instead of every 15 days).
If it falls on a day off or holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day after the day off; if it falls on the Lunar New Year holiday, it will be postponed to the next adjustment period./.
