The 4th Dien Hong Television Awards Subcommittee held a preliminary judging meeting.

The meeting took place live at Vietnam Television and connected online with other points. Participating in the preliminary judging, the members of the Television Subcommittee worked seriously, responsibly, openly and transparently.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha, Head of the Subject - Science and Education Department, Vietnam Television - Head of the Television Subcommittee, assessed that the television works participating in the preliminary round of the 4th Dien Hong Award were of very good quality and very convincing content.

“Many people think that works related to parliament and legislation are often dry. But this year's works show that journalists have really delved into the essence of the problem. Topics on legislation and the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils, linked to current issues such as two-level local government, socio-economic development, people's lives, etc. We were very surprised that the television reports and television programs on this topic were made so vividly and convincingly,” Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha shared.

According to the Head of the Television Subcommittee, the works participating in the Preliminary Round this year have shown the growth of local radio and television stations, which have now merged into newspapers. They have promoted their strengths very well to continue contributing to policy communication work, especially communication for the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils in localities and areas across the country.

In terms of presentation, members of the Television Subcommittee assessed that most of the works were vividly presented, starting from familiar stories about people's lives, effectively using graphic images, including many quality works from local press agencies.

After a serious discussion and evaluation process, the Television Subcommittee selected 15 high-quality works that met the criteria and theme of this year's Dien Hong Award to introduce to the Final Jury for judging and decision.
