Looking for innovative women startup ideas/projects

The Provincial Women's Union has just organized the final round of the 5th Dong Nai Province Women's Innovation Startup Ideas/Project Competition in 2023.

Speaking at the contest, Ms. Le Thi Thai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, said that after 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 66 projects participating in the contest (an increase of 7 projects compared to 2022). Among them are enterprises, cooperatives/cooperative groups, business households and projects from universities. In addition to the products that have met the standards of the One Commune One Product program, many projects participating in the contest have the potential to participate in the One Commune One Product program of the province.

From 66 projects, the Organizing Committee selected 15 projects for the final round. The authors and author groups in the final round were trained to complete the project and equipped with knowledge and skills to build and present a presentation. In the final round, the authors/author groups presented their projects and answered questions posed by the Organizing Committee.

As a result, contestant Hoang Thi My Nhung, author of the project Production and trading of crocodile leather products, in Vinh Cuu District won first prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 8 consolation prizes and one pioneer prize.
