Find out the champion of the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament

After many days of exciting competition, on November 14, the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament ended with the men's championship belonging to Danang University, while the women's team of Ton Duc Thang University was crowned after a dramatic final match.

Danang University won the men's championship.

The qualifying round of the tournament had the participation of 161 teams from 131 universities, academies and colleges across the country. Thereby, the 8 best men's teams and 6 best women's teams made it to the final round held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Gymnasium.

In a vibrant, emotional atmosphere, the teams delivered a series of dramatic matches, attracting a large number of students and fans to watch live at the stadium and via the TV360 digital platform.

In the women's category, the final match between Ton Duc Thang University and Da Nang University ended with a thrilling 41-40 victory for Ton Duc Thang University.

The match was decided in the final seconds, with an explosive performance from Minh Minh and the resilient play of the girls from Ton Duc Thang University. The journey from the regional qualifiers to the national championship has demonstrated the strength and perseverance of the young team from Ho Chi Minh City.

The women's final was full of drama.

Right after the women's final, the audience continued to witness an emotional championship match between the University of Transport and Danang University in the men's event.

The two teams kept chasing the score throughout the four rounds. Danang University won 74-71 in overtime, despite missing key player Van Dai due to a personal foul. The victory demonstrated the bravery and solidarity of the team representing the central region.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology Gymnasium exploded with the action of the men's final match.

Thus, the 2025 season has found outstanding teams and individuals. In the men's category, Danang University won the championship; University of Transport and Communications won second place; third place belonged to the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi and RMIT University - Ho Chi Minh City. In the women's category, Ton Duc Thang University won the championship; Danang University won second place; third place belonged to Vietnam National University, Hanoi and RMIT University - Ho Chi Minh City.

Individual awards include best male athlete Le Trung Khoa (Da Nang University) and best female athlete Bui Minh Thu (Ton Duc Thang University).

The “NUC Favorite Players Empowerment Stories Contest” category honors the two most favorite faces in 2025, Phuong Dinh An (National Economics University) and Nguyen Truc Ly (Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics).

The 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament - TV360 Cup, part of the National Student Sports Tournament (NUC) system chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE) and Viet Digital Content and Trading Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent), has concluded the 2025 season with many special marks. The tournament continues to affirm its position as a prestigious sports playground for students nationwide.

Not only creating attraction on the field, NUC 2025 - TV360 Cup also left a strong mark in terms of communication and technology application. For the first time, all 241 qualifying matches and 24 final matches were produced and broadcast live in high quality on the TV360 digital platform.
