
The qualifying rounds of the tournament involved 161 teams from 131 universities, academies, and colleges nationwide. From these, the 8 best men's teams and 6 best women's teams advanced to the finals held at the Hanoi University of Technology Gymnasium.
In a vibrant and emotional atmosphere, the teams delivered a series of thrilling matches, attracting a large number of students and fans who watched live at the stadium and via the TV360 digital platform.
In the women's competition, the final match between Ton Duc Thang University and Da Nang University concluded with a thrilling 41-40 victory for Ton Duc Thang University.
The match was decided in the final seconds, thanks to an explosive performance from Minh Minh and the tenacious play of the girls from Ton Duc Thang University. Their journey from the regional qualifiers to the national championship demonstrated the strength and resilience of this young team from Ho Chi Minh City.

Immediately following the women's final, the audience witnessed another emotionally charged championship match between the University of Transport and Communications and the University of Da Nang in the men's category.
The two teams constantly chased each other in terms of points throughout the four quarters. Da Nang University brilliantly won 74-71 in overtime, despite the absence of key player Van Dai due to a personal foul. The victory demonstrated the resilience and team spirit of the team representing central Vietnam.

Thus, the 2025 season has found its outstanding teams and individuals. In the men's category, Da Nang University won the championship; the University of Transport and Communications came in second; and third place went to the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi and RMIT University - Ho Chi Minh City. In the women's category, Ton Duc Thang University won the championship; Da Nang University came in second; and third place went to Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City.
Individual awards included Best Male Athlete Le Trung Khoa (Da Nang University) and Best Female Athlete Bui Minh Thu (Ton Duc Thang University).
The “NUC Favorite Players Empowerment Stories Contest” category honored the two most popular contestants of 2025: Phuong Dinh An (National Economics University) and Nguyen Truc Ly (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City).
