Third victim found in rockslide on National Highway 6.

As of this morning, December 15th, authorities in Phu Tho province have found the third victim in the rockslide incident.

According to the Phu Tho Provincial Police, during the overnight search for victims buried in the landslide on National Highway 6, section passing through Nhuoi hamlet, Mai Chau commune, the Fire and Rescue Police force (Phu Tho Provincial Police) coordinated with the Mai Chau commune police, local authorities and relevant units to implement a comprehensive range of professional measures.

Authorities searched for the victim throughout the night.

At 3:20 AM on the same day, authorities found the third victim, Mr. Bui Van C. (born in 1973, residing in Muong Cong area, Tan Lac commune, Phu Tho province). The victim's body was handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.

Currently, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police (Phu Tho Provincial Police) are continuing to maintain forces and equipment at the scene, coordinating with Mai Chau Commune Police, local authorities, and relevant units to urgently implement measures to mitigate the consequences of the landslide, clear debris, ensure safety, organize traffic diversion, and facilitate the flow of vehicles through National Highway 6.

Earlier, at 3 PM on December 14th, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department (Phu Tho Provincial Police) received a report about a serious landslide on National Highway 6 (the section passing through Nhuoi hamlet, Mai Chau commune), causing damage to people and property.

The Phu Tho Provincial Police mobilized forces and equipment including 2 fire trucks, 2 rescue vehicles, and 30 officers and soldiers to quickly reach the scene and coordinate with local authorities to carry out rescue operations under conditions where the site was severely buried under earth and rocks, cutting off the road and posing a risk of further landslides.

By 10 PM on December 14th, authorities had found the bodies of two victims: Pham Duc Th. (born in 1997, from Quang Minh village, Me Linh commune, Hanoi , a passerby) and Bui Van T. (born in 1980, residing in Muong Cong area, Tan Lac commune, Phu Tho province).

Thus, all three victims of the landslide have been found.
