Body of fisherman found after boat capsized at sea

After more than a day missing, the body of a fisherman whose boat capsized at sea in Lam Dong has been found.

On the afternoon of November 28, the People's Committee of Lien Huong Commune ( Lam Dong ) announced that the search team had discovered the body of Mr. DQS (born in 1985, residing in Hamlet 9, Lien Huong Commune) after nearly a day missing at sea. The victim was found at around 2:00 p.m. the same day at the embankment area of ​​Hamlet 2, Lien Huong Commune.

As reported by SGGP, on the afternoon of November 27, Mr. S. and Mr. HV (born in 1992) moved their boat to anchor at Lien Huong estuary. While moving, the anchor fell into the sea, and the two then used a boat to row out to retrieve it. When they were near the estuary, the boat was suddenly overturned by a large wave. Mr. V. swam to shore by himself, and his health was stable, while Mr. S. was swept away and went missing.

Immediately after the incident, Lien Huong Commune Police coordinated with rescue forces, border guards and local military to search.
