Arsenal reach agreement to sign Mosquera
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia for a fee of £13 million ($16.8 million), excluding add-ons, according to Sky Sports. The 21-year-old Spaniard has also agreed personal terms with the Emirates Stadium club.
Mosquera is expected to travel to London for a medical within the next 48 hours, before signing a five-year contract. Arsenal hope to complete the deal before their tour of Asia this weekend.
Arsenal's offer was initially rejected by Valencia. However, with Mosquera's contract only having one year left, the Spanish club were forced to agree to sell him to avoid losing him for free. Mosquera played 41 games in the 2024/25 season and scored 1 goal.
