Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament; Mr. Phan Van Lam - Director of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center; Mr. Tran Quang Thai - Director of the Electronic Information Center, Department of Information and Communications; representatives of provincial departments and branches.

The 2024 Binh Duong Provincial Basketball Club Tournament will take place from November 15 to November 17, 2024, with the participation of 240 athletes from 15 men's teams and 4 women's teams from 16 Basketball Clubs in the province.

Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament and delegates presented souvenir flags to the delegations participating in the Tournament.

The teams are divided into groups to compete in a round-robin format, with points awarded for each match: The winning team gets 2 points, the losing team gets 1 point, and the losing team gets 0 points. At the end of the group stage, the 2 teams with the best and second best results in each group will compete in the semi-finals. The winning teams in the semi-finals will compete in the final.

The organizers and invited guests took souvenir photos with the delegations attending the tournament.

The 2024 Binh Duong Provincial Basketball Club Tournament is not only a healthy and useful playground for physical training and sports, but also a place for athletes to enhance solidarity, exchange, learn, share experiences, improve professional qualifications, and encourage the movement of practicing and competing in Basketball.

Through the tournament, the aim is to evaluate the organization, training, construction and development of basketball in localities, and at the same time select and add excellent athletes to provincial teams to participate in regional and national sports tournaments in the coming time.

The entire Opening Ceremony, the first match and matches from the quarter-finals to the final of the Tournament will be livestreamed on the YouTube channel "Binh Duong Sports" for fans inside and outside the province to watch.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams entered the competition for both men's and women's events.
