Reporting at the working session on the province's e-commerce development situation in the past time, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province Nguyen Dinh Dai said that, based on Decision No. 645/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2020 of the Prime Minister on approving the Master Plan for national e-commerce development for the period 2021 - 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Decision No. 1505/QD-UBND dated August 6, 2020 on the Plan for e-commerce development in Lang Son province for the period 2021 - 2025 with many contents on e-commerce development:
Implementing laws on e-commerce; propagating to raise awareness of e-commerce in the business community; Training and developing human resources on e-commerce in the province; Developing and applying technology, services, products and solutions on e-commerce associated with national digital transformation...

In the period of 2021-2025, deploy support for widespread e-commerce application in the business community of Lang Son province towards developing a complete and sustainable e-commerce system that meets the needs and trends of the new era in business development. Put e-commerce application products of Lang Son province into effective operation.
Ensure provision and support for businesses participating in online sales and digital transformation in each business. Strengthen the construction of infrastructure and service systems to support e-commerce development. Coordinate with credit institutions in the province to encourage support in online payments, not using cash.
Mr. Dai said that e-commerce activities in the province have had positive changes, the number of organizations and individuals participating in e-commerce activities is increasing. In order to create favorable conditions for the maximum trading of goods, under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province has contributed to the application of "E-commerce", "Digital transformation", towards "Digital Government; Digital Infrastructure; Digital Society and especially Digital Economy and Digital Border Gate" in Lang Son province.

Officials from the Department of Industry and Trade also analyzed and evaluated the province's digital transformation capabilities; described the current status of implementing solutions to expand the market through e-commerce, with a special focus on cross-border e-commerce between Vietnam and China.
In the coming time, the province will pay special attention to building a healthy, competitive and sustainable e-commerce market, including supporting the widespread application of e-commerce in businesses and the community.
In order to effectively implement the province's goals in the coming time, the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade proposed to continue receiving support from the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy in the coming time through national e-commerce projects, as well as support the unit in building and developing e-commerce in Lang Son province with stability and long-term development.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy Le Hoang Oanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the province's efforts in the results achieved in the field of e-commerce development in recent times.
Listening to the proposals and recommendations at the meeting, Director Le Hoang Oanh affirmed that the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy will always accompany and support localities in coming up with appropriate solutions to implement tasks related to e-commerce development in the coming time.
