On the evening of December 6, the charity art program "Humanity in the midst of storms and floods" took place at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Hong Ha Secondary and High School (Go Vap Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). This is an activity organized by the People's Committee of Go Vap Ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Go Vap Ward in coordination with the school to raise funds to support people in the Central region affected by natural disasters.

The program gathered many artists, singers Ngoc Son, Dam Vinh Hung, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Chau Thanh, My Le, Ngoc Anh, Quang Ha, Thy Nhung... All shared the same spirit towards the Central region compatriots, calling for solidarity with the spirit of love and solidarity. A joint effort, a word of encouragement contributed to giving strength to the people to overcome difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association - commented that this is a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love during the period when people across the country are turning to the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods.
Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairwoman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association, received 100 million VND donated by Hong Ha Secondary and High School to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund.
"Up to this point, the city has mobilized more than 300 billion VND and over 2,000 tons of goods to promptly support people in flood-hit areas. The spirit of Ho Chi Minh City - a civilized, modern, and compassionate city is further demonstrated through the cooperation of the city's people as well as the collective of Hong Ha Secondary and High School today" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung informed.
At the show, singer Thy Nhung donated 74.4 million VND, singer Dam Vinh Hung donated 10 million VND... The show also had the support of many sponsors, parents and students of the school.
