The conference aims to review the leadership, direction, and management of socio-economic development and political system building in 2025, propose resolutions on directions and tasks in 2026, work programs for the first 6 months of 2026 and a number of other contents under its authority.
In 2025, the province's socio -economic situation achieved important results, some main targets were quite good compared to the plan, increased over the same period such as: The economy is estimated to increase by 8%; cultural fields have made much progress; social security is implemented effectively; jobs and livelihoods for people continue to receive attention; national defense and security are stable; the fight against corruption, waste and negativity is directed to be implemented resolutely and persistently; Party building and the political system are implemented synchronously and drastically; the operation of local governments at 2 levels is smooth; the administrative apparatus is increasingly streamlined and operates effectively, efficiently and effectively.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing tasks and solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital in 2025; coordinate to accelerate the upgrading and expansion of Ca Mau Airport, Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway, roads to the island and Hon Khoai dual-use general port; plans and solutions for 8% growth in 2025 and growth of 10% or more in 2026; solutions to improve the quality of primary health care and primary education; work to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and sustainable development of aquatic resources; growth in the agricultural and fishery sectors...; directions and tasks for tourism growth in 2026 and taking care of Tet for people; work to resolve petitions and long-standing backlogs; implementation of the Central Resolution, Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels in the province; preparation for the election of People's Council delegates at all levels; work to care for poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances; results of the Congress of the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; results of the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; local military and defense work in 2025 and a number of other important contents.
The conference voted on the Resolution's targets on directions and tasks for 2026; voted to pass the Resolution of the 3rd Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized: 2026 is a year of special importance, the year of organizing the 14th National Congress of the Party, electing deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2026-2030, achieving the double-digit growth target.
Therefore, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai requested Party committees, Party organizations at all levels, sectors and localities to promote the results and achievements that have been achieved, overcome existing limitations and weaknesses, continue to lead and direct the drastic, effective, substantive and comprehensive implementation of the targets, objectives and tasks that have been thoroughly discussed and unanimously set out in the Resolution on directions and tasks for 2026 and the Work Program for the first 6 months of 2026, contributing to the successful completion of the goals and tasks set out in 2026.
