Accordingly, the Ministry requested that units proactively contact and coordinate with passenger transport businesses to organize the sale of train and bus tickets at schools for students returning home for Tet; and arrange appropriate holiday schedules for students to reduce traffic pressure before, during, and after the Lunar New Year.
For students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are unable to return home to celebrate Tet with their families, the Ministry of Education and Training requires relevant units to proactively plan and organize thoughtful Tet celebrations for them.
The Ministry also requested that units pay attention to caring for officials, civil servants, and employees in the education sector, especially those from disadvantaged families, remote areas, border regions, islands, ethnic minority areas, and mountainous regions.
Educational institutions are stepping up efforts to promote and educate students on civilized behavior, preserving traditional national cultural identity, maintaining social order and safety, and strictly adhering to legal regulations during the Tet holiday.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training has instructed all units not to organize visits or New Year greetings to superiors and leaders at all levels; and strictly prohibits the use of public funds to give or receive New Year gifts to leaders at all levels in any form. Leaders at all levels are only allowed to attend temple ceremonies and festivals when assigned; they are not allowed to participate in superstitious activities; and they are not allowed to use state budget funds, public vehicles, or public assets in violation of regulations.
