The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to organize a Film Series to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th Anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to preside over and coordinate with Feature Film Joint Stock Company I, Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company, Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Company Limited, Vietnam Animation Film Joint Stock Company, People's Public Security Cinema, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Film Distribution and Screening Center, Cinema Center, Cultural - Cinema Center, Cultural - Art Center, Cultural Centers of provinces and centrally-run cities (hereinafter referred to as Cinema Units) to organize the Film Series to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20 years of National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) nationwide.
It is expected that the Film Festival to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) will take place in August-September 2025.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the Chief of the Ministry's Office, Director of the Department of Cinema, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Director of Feature Film Joint Stock Company I, Director of Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company, Director of Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio LLC, Director of Vietnam Animation Film Joint Stock Company, Director of People's Public Security Cinema, Directors of Cinema Units and Heads of relevant units to be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
