Organizing Phu Yen Student Journey with Homeland Islands in 2025

On June 10, at An Hai Border Guard Station (Tuy An district), the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Student Association Secretariat organized the Phu Yen Student Journey to the Homeland's Sea and Islands in 2025.

Attending the program were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Border Guard Command, Tuy An District, An Hai Border Guard Station; the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Student Association and more than 200 union officials, union members, and members of universities and colleges in the province.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 100 national flags to fishermen, 10 gifts to disadvantaged families in An Hoa Hai commune, each worth 500,000 VND, and 10 gifts to disadvantaged students in Tuy An district, each worth 500,000 VND, along with many notebooks. In addition, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Student Association also presented gifts to officers and soldiers of An Hai Border Guard Station.

On the same day, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Student Association organized a training course for Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union and Student Association officials; and provided information on the situation of the sea and islands to more than 200 union officials, associations, union members and association members. The reporter informed about the recent situation in the East Sea, the viewpoints, guidelines and policies of our Party and State in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, the strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy as well as raising the responsibility of the younger generation in protecting sovereignty and developing the marine economy to students.
