Organizing cultural space for Tet of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province

(CLO) The Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province has just issued a Plan to organize a cultural space for Tet of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province.

Accordingly, the ancient Tet space will be held from January 27 to February 3 (ie December 28 to January 6), at the Flagpole yard, Internal Road of the Planning Palace, Fair and Exhibition of Quang Ninh province.

The program will recreate the ancient Tet culture of Quang Ninh people through the space of the rural market on Tet, displaying and selling traditional products on Tet that are harvested from the labor and production of Quang Ninh people; the characteristics of the ancient Tet space of coastal, rural, mountainous and urban residents associated with the traditional customs and practices of each region with the cultural characteristics of Quang Ninh.

At the same time, in this space, there will be performances of typical folk songs and dances of ethnic groups; instructions on how to play typical folk games for people to participate in; display and introduce books, spring newspapers; calligraphy paintings, folk paintings about Spring, traditional Tet of the nation; calligraphy activities; quick portrait sketching; wrapping banh chung; pounding banh giay; picking lucky branches; transforming into traditional costumes...

The space of the old Tet aims to promote good customs and traditions so that the public, especially the young generation, will have a deeper understanding of the traditional Tet holiday. Through that, it contributesto educating and promoting the traditional values of the nation.
